A walk taking in the best of the superb features of the River Itchen both south and north of the city centre, plus downland paths on the south side allowing great views back over the city and its nearby countryside. Starting at the railway station and taking in quiet routes via the cathedral close, St Cross Hospital and the Winnall Moors nature reserve.
