Location: 10 am start at Reading Railway station. Park at Mortimer outside the Cinnamon Tree, the Street, Mortimer RG7 3NR and take 9.34 train or from Basingstoke station it's the same train 9.21 departure.

10 am start at Reading Railway station. The walk takes in the Abbey quarter and St James church in Reading before following the Kennet and Avon canal to Sheffield Bottom and then into Sulhamstead Abbotts and onto Mortimer via Burghfield Common and back to the station/cars. Please bring refreshments for a coffee stop and picnic lunch.
