Walk Off The Christmas Dinner, Odiham and Greywell

This is a fairly easy walk with a few small inclines but nothing too strenous. There will be some muddy sections at this time of year so walking boots will be necessary.

We will start with a scenic walk along the towpath of the Basingstoke Canal from Odiham to Greywell. There will be a short stop to look at the ruins of Odiham Castle and a coffee/snack stop at Greywell Hill where we can admire the views.

The walk will then go through woodland and farmland and a gentle ascent to the lunch stop at the junction of paths at Five Lanes end. We then descend back towards Greywell and around Greywell Moors nature reserve before continuing across farmland back to Odiham.
