Location: St Roches Hill viewpoint car park*, located south of Singleton at the end of Town Lane, close to the Rubbing House

Follow the Monarchs Way (MW), NW to West Dean Church, cross the A286 follow the path NW to Lodge Hill Farm and Hylter's Lane and onto Chilgrove. Then south to Blackbush House, cobntinuing to Bow Hill. Then head SE through Kingley Vale towards Welldown House and Binderton Lane, to Binderton House then head easterly along the West Sussex Literary Trail climbing back to the car park.
