Location: Coming up from Sheffield Bottom towards Theale on Hangar Lane, the CP entrance is immediately before the traffic lights (20metres) and on the right. Note not the sailing club entrance.

From Theale Bridge CP the walk initially follows the Kennet & Avon Canal (0.5mls) before taking a more southerly route from the canal via Sulhamstead, Ufton Green, Padworth, Padworth Mill and then onto Aldermaston Wharf (6.5 mls). There will be short break during this period but the main break will be at the tea room at Aldermaston Wharf. The walk then follows the canal back to Theale Bridge (4mls).
