Stuart's "50" stage 2. Golden Pot to Bishops Sutton 12.5 miles

Linear countryside walk relying on public transport at both ends. It is part two of a long distance walk from Basingstoke to the coast. The walk starts on the highest part of the ridge north of Alton and crosses several hills and valleys to reach the village of Bishops Sutton which is just east of Alresford. It passes through the villages of Shalden, Bentworth and Medstead. A variety of lanes, open fields and woodland. Good views, southwards in several places.
