STONYMARSH AND THE TEST VALLEY

We will be walking up to the chalk hills that border the Test Valley, through Michelmersh and down to the River Test, negotiating the steep path near the quarry (there are hand rails). Crossing the meadows, we'll then pass by some interesting cottages and houses in Oakley and Mottisfont, joining part of the Test Way.

Later, we'll walk through fields with good views to drop down into the Dunn Valley. Then up through woods and back via Kimbridge and over the spectacular Test River again.
