St Swithun's Way Part 2. Alresford to Winchester, with chance to enjoy the Xmas Market

Walk along St Swithun's Way from Alresford to Winchester. We will catch the 64 bus from Alton (or Four Marks) to The Cricketers, New Alresford and then continue our way on foot along fairly flat roads and paths that follow the course of the River Itchen. The route finishes at Winchester Cathedral where walkers can enjoy the festivities of the famous Winchester Christmas Market. The 64 bus leaves from Broadway, near King Alfred's statue, every 30 minutes and will return walkers to Alresford, Four Marks and Alton.
