South Harting via Nyewood circular

We leave South Harting taking in the views of the South Downs as field paths and lanes take us through East Harting. An ancient sunken tree lined path opens up with a suprise view. Field paths and woods show us the way to Nyewood. Here we pick up the Serpents Trail and follow to Down Park Farm where the trail follows more paths through open country to a quiet lane. The lane is followed through West Harting, and beyond a footpath takes us back to South Harting with lovely views of the South Downs on our return route.
