Location: Please park in and around the village considerately. We will meet on the green opposite The White Lion.

We commence our "Millennium" hike from the quiet village of Soberton, and initially follow the Allan King Way making our way to Newtown. From there we meander through the Forrest of Bere to pick up the former Meon Valley railway line.

We will stop for a short coffee and lunch break and for those interested, a drink in the White Lion to finish our day together.
