Location: Durness is around 1h30m drive north from Lochinver. We will start at the beach at Balnakeil.

Rest day for the Lochinver trip.

A series of short walks will be run at Durness for anyone wanting an easy tourist day. Durness is a lovely place on the very north coast of Scotland - with views across to Cape Wrath (which if we're very luck the RAF may be using as target practice) as well as some amazing sandy beaches and the very impressive Smoo Caves.

There is a also a rather fabulous "Chocolate" shop & cafe.
