Location: The Rufus Stone Car Park. Take the Bramshaw Road from the Cadnam turn off (junction 1 of the M27). Follow the B3079 as far as Brook. Just past the Green Dragon on your left, take the lane on the left to Canterton. After about 2 miles along this road, go past the Sir Walter Tyrrell pub on your left and the Rufus Stone car park is just a bit further along set back on the left hand side in the trees.

This is the place where William Rufus (son of William the Conqueror) was shot dead in mysterious circumstances. We will be tracking up through the hunting grounds and then exploring the delights of Minstead with some more stories and mysteries! A bit undulating with a few stiles.
