Rowlands Castle

Starting at Rowlands Castle Recreation Ground car park, we walk north to Finchdean and beyond, dropping under the railway and visiting the remote historic church at Idsworth. We return to Rowlands Castle via the Shipwrights Way.

If you attended Gill and Ian's walk on 31st July, you visited the church at Idsworth via a loop starting from the North. Today's walk visits the church by way of a Southern approach.

Some mostly quiet road walking but nothing exceptional and no stiles. Picnic lunch.
