Location: Meet by the Thatched House pub: the big, rough ground, open car park overlooking the creek and serving the Milton Locks Nature Reserve (behind and to the left of the pub), is the best place to park. Please don't park in the pub car park (which has white lines to show parking spaces).

The Portsea Island Circular Walk is a flat, 15-mile trail looping around the coast of Portsmouth. It blends historic naval sights like Southsea Castle with scenic views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. The route offers peaceful stretches for spotting wildlife along Langstone Harbour and the historic Hilsea Lines, as well as some 'urban' stretches that may be a bit noisy.
