Location: Meet by the church. Park where convenient. The Ship Inn overflow car park is available to those patronising the pub after the walk.

Via the Monarch's Way, Cockscombe Hill Copse and Watley Lane. As expected there is a lot of mud and water on the walk so boots. gaiters, wellies and poles are recommended. There are three stiles, a bit of quite road walking and several up/down sections. There is a downhill muddy section at the start of the walk where careful walking is needed.
