Location: The visitor's car park at National Trust Mottisfont. Park on the right facing the road.

An interesting walk from the Test Valley to the downs. We will investigate some interesting bits including an ice house, old cottages, chalk quarry, water meadows and chalk streams. There is some lane walking and good paths. There is a steep bit though with hand rails when we go down the side of the quarry.
