North along the old railway line, cutting west to travel through Exton and up a long gradual incline to the plateau of the South Downs. Glancing off Corhampton Forest, we pass Corhampton Golf Club and head east towards Fiddle Hanger and from there back to Meonstoke.

No stiles, and one rather long gradual hill. Rather more (pleasant) road walking than usual to divert around some still-flooded areas.
