Ludgershall

It's all about downs and bottoms!

From the car park we head out of the village northwards via fields then westwards via tracks and lanes to a gentle ascent of Coldridge Down. We then walk along Honey Bottom before crossing Coldridge Wood to Cowcommon Bottom. From there it's a long gentle climb along the tree lined Waterlane Bottom before doubling back on ourselves to Blackmore Down and a visit to Ludgershall Castle before returning to the car park. Picnic lunch.
