LONDON (WATERLOO STATION)

Meet at Waterloo station under the clock ready to start the walk at 10:15.

We will head out through Lambeth and along the River Thames towards Lambeth Palace where there is a cafe and toilet facilities. We then head off towards Battersea Power Station where we will have our lunch stop.

There is the opportunity to remain around this area and explore or if you wish, to return to Waterloo. There is a tube station and Uber boat piers should you want to return from this point. Please ensure Jenny knows if you leave the group at this stage.

For those returning by foot we will journey over Chelsea Bridge, heading towards the Houses of Parliament, over Westminster Bridge and finish the walk at the Royal Festival Hall. There is a cafe here with toilet facilities or a couple of places for a celebratory beer.

 

The walk back to Waterloo from the Festival Hall is about 5 mins.
