Location: Park at the village hall in King’s Somborne, off Romsey Road.

Starting from the village hall we just have one slight hill to meet the Clarendon way. We cross over the River Test and on to Houghton to pick up the Monarch's way. Our picnic lunch will be in Broughton, there's a lovely dovecote in the churchyard to look at. There is a shop and toilets are in the village hall. We have some road walking after lunch but quiet lanes. I counted 5 stiles: all good .
