Location: Great Sheldon's Coppice, Hook. Turn off the A30, onto the B3349. Please park along the road opposite the housing estate.

This is a flat walk through beautiful countryside between Hook and Basingstoke. We pass through the village of Newnham and proceed north to the Lyde River, a tributary of the River Loddon. After lunch at a suitable spot, we head towards Rotherwick and from there proceed back to our starting point.
