Location: Meet by the tree in the middle of the triangular green. There is parking around the village, along the verge up Pocock Lane and a small car park opposite the church corbel (Cricket Club/Parish Hall). Please park considerately and take up as little room as possible.

A beautiful, almost figure of eight, walk from Hawkley through fields and woodland. There are two long upward hills and one steep descent (via the Zig Zag), as well as some undulations, and there are 6 stiles. The walk takes in two of the most beautiful beech wood hangars in the area, with stunning views (foggy when recced), as well as woodland glades and running streams.
