GRIFFINS, GRITNAM AND ALICE IN WONDERLAND

We will be walking from Emery Down through woodland (which may be a little bit muddy in places) to the Roman Bridge at Highland Water. Then we'll be wandering up to Allum Green where there are Griffins lurking. After that it’s the Anglo Saxon settlement of Gritnam, Bank and then Lyndhurst, where there is an Alice in Wonderland connection.  Then back up to Emery Down. From Allum Green, we will be on good tracks and lanes with no mud! No stiles.
