Fritham Plain and Amberwood Inclosure

This is a good walk for lovers of woodland.  We start from Fritham CP and head west, at a leisurely pace, over Fritham Plain on some less-well used paths to Amberwood Inclosure.  Here we will walk among many oaks and mature pine trees before emerging near the northern edge of the Plain where the tree cover thins revealing glimpses of Eyeworth Lodge on our left.  The level paths are generally good with no styles and only two fords, one of which is dry and the other hardly damp.  Good walking shoes or boots are recommended.
