Frensham Pond

Frensham Common is a fine example of open Surrey heathland. It's a site of Special Scientific Interest and consists of dry and wet heath, woodland, scrub and of course the ponds.  Although largely flat and sandy, the walk is diverse and there will be spectacular views at the top of Stony Jump which is your reward for making the steep climb. And, one more, shorter climb after that. As a circular route we will be skirting both the Great and Little Ponds. Plenty of tree coverage in places should we be lucky (or unlucky) with the weather.
