FOREST AND HEATH FROM ACRES DOWN

The walk starts from the Acres Down car park next to the cafe. We go south to Acres Down, where on a clear day there are wonderful views across the Forest to the Isle of Wight. We then circle down to Millyford Bridge and along Highland Water, enjoying some shade if the weather is still hot.  Back out on open heath we pass Andrew’s Mare to return to the car park. 

Bring refreshments for a coffee stop and lunch break.

Option to visit the Acres Down cafe at the end of the walk.
