Location: Crossfield Car Park, Fernhurst (behind shops) - turn left at town junction on A286, and take first left to car park. Alternatively, if coming from Petersfield via B2070 and approaching car park along Vann Road, take the last RH turn before the A286 and into Crossfield. Large village car park with a public convenience, which is usually open on a Sunday morning.

A walk from Fernhurst to Blackdown; then onto Lurgashall for lunch; and returning to Fernhurst via Blackdown Farm and Reeth. Please bring sufficient food and drink. Additional drinks can be purchased from the pub in Lurgashall. Map OL33
