Location: Eartham Woods C/P, located off Eartham Lane, which is a right hand turn off the A285, just south of the Selhurst Park turn-off.

Starting from Eartham Woods car park, the walk heads for Great Down, onto Gumber Corner and Bignor Hill, before descending to Sutton (lunch stop). After lunch the route takes us up to Barlavington Down, along to Cross Dyke and, finally, along the Monarch's Way back to the car park.

Fairly hilly terrain, which in good weather, offers superb views of the South Downs.
