DOWNTON, HALE AND CHARLTON ALL SAINTS - NEW DATE!

A walk in the Avon Valley starting with a wander through The Moot in Downton, we’ll then follow the Avon south, heading to Hale, before looping north to pass our start point.  The walk then takes us through the pretty village of Downton, to head north again to Charlton All Saints and out across the water meadows, returning south to The Moot.

The walk is varied with some lovely countryside and views.  There is quite a bit or road walking on quiet country lanes - the usual care should be taken.  Four and a half stiles!

Please bring provisions for a coffee stop and picnic lunch.

I’d love you to come along but please help me to keep the walk safe and enjoyable for everyone by:-

• Choosing the right walk; the walk should be within your abilities
• Wearing appropriate clothing/footwear
• Carrying an “ICE” In Case of Emergency information card
