Downs and Water Meadows

We will walk to St Catherine's Hill where there will be a coffee break. We will then continue along the River Itchen to Shawford where we will have our lunch break. A pub and cafe are available here. Alternatively sandwiches may be eaten on Shawford Down. We will then ascend Shawford Down and return to Winchester via Yew Hill and St Cross.
