Location: Cheriton Recreation Ground car park. A few hundred yards west of Cheriton on the road to Winchester (Westfield Road). On the right just past the Flower Pots Inn.

A walk along tracks and paths alongside woods or through open downland. east from Cheriton, north to Alresford, southwest past Fulley Wood to Gander Down. Briefly on the South Downs Way and back to Cheriton. A similar area but different paths to the Wednesday walk a week or so ago, and not as fast.

Coffee and lunch stop, bring sandwiches/thermos.

If it's sunny, bring hat, sun cream, water, as needed.
