Location: Cheriton Village Recreation Ground. From the A272, Winchester to Petersfield Road, take the left hand turn signed to Cherition into Westfield Road. After about a kilometer turn left into the CP immediately before entering the village.

This walk takes us through the pretty village of Cheriton and out over the civil war battlefield, of the same name, before crossing the park land surrounding Tichborne House. The views are good the paths are good and there is only one style. Bring a packed lunch which we will eat along the way. Also, the Flower Pots Inn is very close to the start/finish. Please inform the walk leader if you intend coming on this walk.
