Leaving Buriton we make a steep ascent along the Milky Way before joining the South Downs Way. We pick up the Sussex Border Path through Torberry Hill, turning off towards Putmans and passing through picturesque Mill Dam. We return to Buriton via Old Ditcham. Hilly ascents and descents but no stiles. Picnic lunch.
