Burghclere

A varied walk of fields and woodland beside and across streams. We head south across fields to join the Brenda Parker way on the disused railway line before heading north east through the extended gardens of Earlstone Manor. Then lanes, woods and fields to Ecchinswell. Further East on a bit more of the Brenda Parker Way then we turn north and east across fields to join the Brenda Parker Way all the way back to our start. It was very muddy and boggy in places on the recce (10 May) and I don't expect it to improve much. Boots or even wellies recommended with poles for tricky bits. 4 stiles. Bring picnic lunch.
