Binsted

Some lovely lakeside walking in a Spring that's bursting. There's a famous horsetail zone on the route, which has a couple of short but steep gradients and a handful of stiles. A little quiet road walking and the hope of a pub at the end which I think will be dashed, because it was shut after today's recce!

And if that isn't enough excitement, the route passes the final resting place of Field Marshal Bernard Law Montgomery, 1st Viscount Montgomery of Alamain.
