Location: Park in the car park signposted on the A4 for The Sanctuary and the Ridgeway. There are spaces both to the north of the A4 on the track which becomes the Ridgeway, or to the south of the road in a long layby. Meet to the south of the A4 at The Santuary, just off the road by the parking.

This walk will include a majestic stretch of the Ridgeway, a walk through water meadows and the chance to see the main sites of the Avebury area. These include the stone circle in the village, Silbury Hill, the West Kennet Long Barrow and the Sanctuary. There will be plenty of time to explore these sites. And there will be great views.
