Free car parking in the Alton Sports Centre lower car park. The Sports Centre staff do not mind us using the toilets, if needed. We will walk at a moderate pace, mainly through woodland. The terrain is slightly undulating and uneven and be prepared for mud. The paths are, in the main, reasonably wide thus promoting a sociable atmosphere. I think that a shortish (banana) break about half way should be sufficient. However, drinks stops will be taken as needed.
