Portsmouth Ramblers Coach Walk to Shaftesbury. There will be a choice of two walks: a short walk of about 7 miles and a long walk of about 9 miles – for full details see separate walk entries. Both walks will start from points outside of Shaftesbury and end in Shaftesbury. We hope to start the walks to give views of Wardour Castle (to be confirmed). As an alternative to walking you could spend time in Shaftesbury and its many attractions.
