Portsmouth Ramblers AGM and Walk

Portsmouth Ramblers 2023 Annual General Meeting, Liss Pavilion, West Liss Playing Field, Station Road, Liss GU33 7AJ. Free parking at the Pavilion car park. Liss Station is 10 mins walk from the Pavilion: 9.07 from Portsmouth arrives 9.44 in Liss. From station turn right up Station Rd, Liss Pavilion is on right hand side.

A morning walk in the Liss area will start from the Pavilion at 10.15am. The walk will be approximately 6 miles, less than 200ft ascent/descent all gentle, setting off from Liss Pavilion, going along the Millennium Walk, towards the Longmoor Enclosure, Greatham Moor, and Greatham, returning via Hurst Farm, Snailing Lane, Hatchmoor Farm, Upper Green and West Liss. Due to the closure of all footpaths in the Longmoor Enclosure because of military exercises, c.400m of road walking is required. Please note path is muddy in places. Walk will stop for coffee, so please bring own drinks for the walk. A shared lunch will follow at the Pavilion. Please contribute to the lunch (savoury or sweet) and bring footwear to change into for the meeting.

The meeting will start at 2.15pm and finish by 4.00pm. Help will be needed at the end of the meeting to clear up the Pavilion.
